Since 2019, the Canadian Education Methodology and its more than 50 years of excellence has been in Joinville. Bilingual Immersion

Being bilingual is much more than speaking another language: it means learning to think in two languages! At Maple Bear our students learn in an immersive English environment and become truly bilingual, being able to navigate comfortably in environments where both, Portuguese and English are used, becoming independent wherever they choose to be.

Teachers prepared straight by Canadian Educators

Canadian educators, with at least 30 years of experience, visit our school twice a year. The aim is to ensure the application of the best practices of the education system that places Canada at the forefront of PISA (Program for International Student Assessment), among English-speaking nations. In addition to these trainings our academic team, undergoes training in a wide range of topics in the months of January and July, thus ensuring education of excellence, based on a broader, humanistic approach, which prepares our students for the future.

Academic Program

Maple Bear’s academic program was developed by experienced Canadian and Brazilian educators to support the full development of our students at all stages of the learning process. At Maple Bear we use the investigative learning to encourage communication, creativity, critical thinking, observation and problem solving, autonomy, and decision making, applying these concepts to all disciplines and areas of knowledge, such as: Language, Mathematics, Science, Literacy, Music, and Arts.

Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance is an important certification process that we go through annually. The objective is to ensure that the highest standards, determined by Maple Bear Global Schools, of safety, organization and management, program implementation, people management, as well as communication with families, are being met, and to provide an action plan in order to guarantee everyone an experience of excellence, aiming at the best possible education for our students and the constant improvement of our school.
